Juniker Jewelry, a fourth generation jewelry store which showcases some of the world's finest bridal and designer lines in addition to one-of-a-kind antique and estate pieces, is the anchor tenant in the new state of the art Madison Highlands retail center on Highland Colony Parkway. Juniker Jewelry occupies over half of the approximately 13,000 square feet of space, which includes 6,000 square feet for tenants that complement the store, such as upscale clothing retialers or fine dining option. The development is expected to serve as a catalyst for merchants along Highland Colony Parkway.
The building is supported on a drilled pier foundation, with an exterior that is comprised of cordova stone, brick and EIFS. The first floor is elevated concrete slab on metal deck and bar joist. The main frame is structural steel with the body of the building consisting of metal studs. The windows and doors are a combination of aluminum storefront, steel entry doors and wood clad windows at the dormers. The flat roof is a welded PVC roofing with slate-style asphalt shingles on all Mansard areas.
This project was a cllaboration between Probity Contracting Group, the owners, John and Don Ravenstein, and the architect, Canizaro Cawthon Davis. Probity Contracting Group worked closely with the owners to create a warm, inviting spce that fosters a satisfying retail experience. Receiving a site ready pad, Probity Contracting Group completed this project within twelve months in January of 2016.
